My Motivation

Where I Want to Hang Heart

Zermatt, Switzerland

Because I have been AWOL the past few days,
I want to welcome all new followers, and let you know I will get caught up
with all dear friends soon.

Things have been a little chaotic,
with trying to write 50,000 words in the month of November alone.
I was off to a good start,
currently standing at 6,100, and hope to continue on
on this Saturday morning.

Pressing business and family matters have kept me
from everyday normalcies, including
my personal favorite Thursday travel post,
which coincidentally is the inspiration
for my writing project.

Zermatt, Switzerland.

Hmmm... I'm thinking a
'research' trip is in order.

Who wants to join me?

  1. I will definitely come, my friend!! Gorgeous doesn't begin to describe it. I hear you about feeling stretched thin. I feel like my days are not long enough right now. Too much work and too many deadlines!!

Hope you're having a great weekend, though! xoxo

  2. GORGEOUS! It's funny because Switzerland isn't one of those places I've always dreamed of going to, but after seeing these photos, I might just have to add it to my (impossible) list! BTW, 50,000 words is ALOT to write! Good luck with that. I graduated with a writing degree, but have been slacking for years! I need to get back to it - I really miss it!

  3. Great post. I've always wanted to go to Switzerland! It looks so beautiful.

I am actually doing the NaNoWriMo challenge too, thanks to you. I am at 12,600 words, but remember, I don't have a job, and my youngest is in school all day, so I have a large chunk of time during the day while no one is here.

I actually read my first chapter to a group of ladies, and they were very encouraging. It spurred me on to keep going.

    Happy Writing!

  4. Oh this post reminds me of the movie "Heidi". I know there's probably a million versions of the film but it's the one in the early 90's. I remember that mountain. Geez that's just absolutely gorgeous. I think the world went a lil nuts when it turned November. I hope dear that things calm down a lil. 6,100 words!!!! I have to give you a round of applause. I'm so behind. =P
