Good Eats Wednesday

Irish Soda Bread

A marvelously easy bread,
which makes you feel as if you are visitng the country for holiday!

The baking soda makes this bread rise, so no waiting around for yeast.
The texture is similar to that of a biscuit...
I added raisins and caraway seeds... an acquired taste.
But topping a slice with some fresh butter and
slice of bacon or country ham for a hearty breakfast
is quite divine.

Bon appetite!

  1. Oh it sounds so nice, especially with the toppings you suggested. I love that you don't have to wait for the yeast to work.

    Yummy,
