In Memory

So many memories and stories I could tell, but some things are better kept as private momentos. These are my last memories of my 'abuelita' a couple months ago. She passed away last Tuesday, and I wanted to share these happy moments we shared.

We had a memorable family reunion in September with mariachis, which I posted about here.

Love you lita.

Ergo Ball Chair

Back to Work

This week we are starting Max Meltdown at my work, kind of like the Biggest Loser.  Having a desk job can be challenging on the core sometimes, which is why many of the ladies in my office walk, run or bike during lunch hours... a great influence. But this ergo ball chair, could just be one the coolest things to work on your core while typing away at the office.

Have a good week!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Any exciting plans today? Today is my beau's 35th bday on top of Valentine's, should be interesting! Speaking of other landmark birthday's, my grandma celebrated her her 75th on Jan 31, and a special friend celebrated his 40th on Jan 29. Happy Birthday to them!

I'm excited to announce that I'll be transitioning the blog back to it's original content soon of more regular posts on: food, travel, photography, fashion, with some new categories of career and relationship and other good things!

I regret I didn't do my annual 14 Days of Love this February, but you can check out my past series HERE!

Scenes from the Weekend

Did you watch the Super Bowl? I was a little more excited about what was going on in the kitchen for Super Bowl than the actual game. Except my favorite commercial was the M&M one. Did you have a favorite?

Here are some highlights of my weekend:
Sushi luncheon with the girls!

When life hands you lemons... make lemonade.

Still searching for that perfect couch!
